Premium Plan

Race Ready Plan

Have a specific event you want to train for?  Superior Performance has a plan for you!  That’s why we are offering our Race Ready training program.  This 12 week training program will get you ready for the event of your choice.  This program is perfect for those that are training for their first race or want some help getting ready for a big event this year.  A coach will meet with you and discuss the best way for you to reach your goal. Your coach will then create a training plan for you.  You can email your coach any question you have about training.  One- two weeks before your event you coach will meet with you to discuss your race strategy and nutrition plan.

Private and Group Lessons

Superior Performance offers affordable private lessons in most endurance disciplines including: swimming, cross-country skiing, and rowing.   Don't see your sport?  Contact us for a full list!

           $25 per hour 1st Person

         $10 per person per hour for each additional person

 

Lactate Test

The test consists of exercising at a progressively harder workload and taking blood samples during each stage. The subject's heart rate is also monitored to determine training zones after the test.  Blood samples are taken by a finger prick and placed in a machine that analyzes the blood and gives a reading that tells the amount of lactic acid present in the sample.   This measurement is used to determine the amount of exertion the body is under and how your physiology is responding to the stress.  A lactate test can be administered in multiple ways.  It can be done in a lab on a treadmill or stationary bike.  It can also be done in the field on a track or hill.  After the test the heart rates and lactates are correlated to provide the subject with their training zones.
